Hey Geoff.
Check in with LWfisherman Brian here on BD. He is a guide there.

I'd be surprised if the Coho were up at the hatchery already... The Kings are headed in now, the coho should be behind those.
Here's my anecdotal information:
* There are (or at least were) some nice schools in the lake over the past couple weeks.
* Finding fish, pretty easy. Finding biters, difficult.
* Virtually all of the boats I talk to have no fish in the box.
So, like a lot of the coho fisheries, it's slow for most folks.

Anyone look at the fish counts at the locks? should give a good indication of who is in the lake at what numbers.

Umm yeah! At least the peanut gallery (fishnazzi) checked in.
I was down at the locks last weekend that much is true, but only I had to take ONE of my shoes off to count all the fish in the glass. It's pretty sad really when I think about going down there with my grandfather 20+ years ago, you could actually watch fish jumping up the ladder, and so many fish in the viewing area you couldn't see to the back wall and I mean that literally.
He wasn't kidding I did have a conversation with probably the wife of "chief bonkallthefish" that told me there were "plenty of salmon making it thru" their funnel of nets right at the entrance to the ladder. Stupid cow
And the great netting schedule leaves the salmon Thursday at 6pm thru Sunday at 6am to get thru the locks thru the canal, past gas works(yep netting there too), thru the other canal past hunts point and yarrow bay (LOTS OF NETTING THERE) past arrowhead up thru the slough and into Sammamish before the nets get back in the water. NO PROBLEM!!
