You put us on some fish, and I will show you how to post all the pics you want! Let's hope this weather gets warmer. Rain or shine, I'm tubing this weekend for something that bites...
THe only time I have ever fished for bass in Washington was north of Coulon Park on Lake Washington. We used Gitzits and managed a couple. Got one on a perch suspending rapala. I like freshwater fishing in South Dakota much better. In the spring, the water is crystal clear (for a river). We cast jointed raps and you can see the fish hit your lure. Then we gave that up and started trolling shad raps. 2 lines per person with me and the nephew in the boat so 4 lines. We would go out for the morning bite and evening bite and just get hammered in late May. We would limit on walleye each time we went out (4 per piece) and have a few smallies and rock bass in the mix. When it got slow we tipped he front shad rap hook with a real worm and that seemed to turn on the bite again. We would troll along the bank in 12 ft to 17ft of water. That was a lot of fun. 5 minute run from the dock ramp. Catfishin was a sure bet too. If there wasn't so many salty fish to chase around here, I might be looking into fresh. But if you can teach me a thing or two and convince me that there is Lucky No. 7 involved I might be there.
Troy, glad to hear you are getting a chance to shake the rain delay and fish...
Fresh can can keep a salty from goin crazy....
We have some awesome lake fishn close by my house...easy to take the boys for a few hours when they ask. Here are some pics of the kids fishn Lake Sylvia, it's five minutes from my house

Hit Tradition lake on Sat. Great lake, just no love from the fish. Water was really cold though. Lots of weeds underwater as well. No fish, but man it felt good to just float out on the water under the sun. Hiked up by Rattlesnake Lake today, and may try that one next time.
