Another shit hot day in MA7. Took two on the change..mid twenties and saw another dozen or so taken. Mike and Jay both had a couple in the box when we left and they are ALL nice sized fish. Seems to be a nice mix of hatchery and wild.

Went two for four on the opener with a buddy ... 22# and a 25# ... done by 9 AM. Tide Pt. and Blakely. Both on cut-plug.

Chartered two nice guys from Stanwood this morning. Limited the boat with an 18#, 22# and 24#. Two on cut-plug and one on a Coho Killer. Blakely and Thatcher Pass. Done by 11 AM. Sharks were thick today ... went through 2 1/2 dozen Herring and about 20 leaders.

Fishing continues to be extraordinary in Rosario Strait. Haven't heard of too many small fish caught. We went two for three on my neighbor's boat this morning. Had a pair of twenties before noon.

Ronzob had one nice fish (est. 20#) - and Driver and friend Karl had two in the low to mid-twenties.

No wind, 75 degree weather, 15 minutes from home, and big bright healthy fish. What could be better.

Jay

Life was really good today. As jay was saying we did very well put tow fish in the boat within fifteen minutes of each other. Couldnt ask for a better day.

I found the small ones today. Real small. We caught 5 with 3 borderline sublegals before 8 o'clock on a friends boat and the biggest keeper was around 10 pounds! HUH? It was killing me.....Killing me! We saw a few nice ones caught and a few lost to. Back out tomorrow with the family on my boat looking for something bigger. First trip for our son, hope he's our good luck charm!
