Unhappy kicker motor

my kicker motor just started sucking the ball dry(flat) till it ran outta gas any idias. wanna try to get it fixed before the derby this weekend. and really dont wana take it to the damm shop..Or even call them up to ask such a small favor.

also anyone been fishing the islands this week.. got a 28# cliped there last week.. lets say around pea pod rocks

It sounds like you may have a restriction in the line or pick up in the tank or the tank may not be venting properly. Hope this helps

the only pics we got were on cell phones..but we got 4 fish in last 5 trips that was the biggest the others 12-15# all in the same area..the hose is new and the line comes off a t-valve off main line and that one has never ran dry ..

ok checked the vent it comes off the tank and ran my main motor and no problems with that fuel line

Check the connection to "t" make sure there is no dirt at snap fitting I MEAN NONE. Since the motor starts and runs and then sucks ball flat that means there is no air suction between motor and T. If the snap fitting is not pushed up on fitting and tight it will not pick up fuel. I hope it helps.

PS did you check line for clog???

the vent is a hose off my main tank.. nothing to unscrew

the line is brand new. had a pinhole in old line. the t is clean but the new snap is about 1/8 from being snug but it is snap on and no leak there when i pump it up.. mabey i well take the hose and ball back and get a differnt one.. if i cant figure it out tonight

Check T and do what Troy suggests before replacing a bulb that probably is good. It sounds like you have a restriction somewhere, possibly at connection ot at the T.
