Back from B.C. (Tuna ready)

Hello BDers, spent the last weekends of July up at Tahsis, caught limits of Kings (no Tyee) biggest was 25lbs. Fished the Hiway, Ferrier, and up towards Kyuquot. Lots of Butts, Lings, and Yelloweye. We were a couple weeks early for the bigger fish, I hear they are in them now.

Enough of that, lets get on with the longfins. Todd says it is that time again. With the latest Terrafin and Wetsand reports, today and this weekend should light em up.

The salmon gear is coming off the boat and the Tuna gear is ready to go. I will be moving the boat to Wesport next week.
I will have a spot or 2 open in the next couple weeks and will post.

Lets hear all the Bloody news.

Mark sounds like you did ok in tahsis. we leave tomorrow night and get back on the 17th. I hope your right about the big fish moving in. I don't plan on keeping kings under 30 lbs. where did you hit the hali's and how did you do on lings and silvers.

I'll believe that when me shit turns purple and smells like rainbow sherbert! I always tell myself that too. But then you get that first slow day and you would be happy to have just one 15 lber in the boat. IF you throw back sub 30s then I guess you need to show me how to fish!

well tommy, I don't think I need to show you how to fish but it is apparent that you need some help with the English language so here you go. Please note that in my post I stated "I don't PLAN on keeping kings under 30 lbs". This may help you.

synonyms plan, design, plot, scheme, project mean a method devised for making or doing something or achieving an end. plan always implies mental formulation and sometimes graphic representation <plans for a house>. design often suggests a particular pattern and some degree of achieved order or harmony <a design for a new dress>. plot implies a laying out in clearly distinguished sections with attention to their relations and proportions <the plot of the play>. scheme stresses calculation of the end in view and may apply to a plan motivated by craftiness and self-interest <a scheme to defraud the government>. project often stresses imaginative scope and vision <a project to develop the waterfront>.

Dragonballs, the reports are getting better day by day on the big kings. The hali's we caught were at (what they call) Twin Peaks about 8 miles from the can. I will go out to my boat and get the numbers for you.

Dragonballs, here are the numbers for Twin Peaks 49 45'.051N 127 14'.238W for the Butts. There are 2 high spots marked 197 on your chart, fish between them (of course try to hit the slack tide). Here are the numbers for the huge Yelloweye and lings we caught while trolling the bottom in 130 ft of water for Kings. 49 48'155N 127 14'941W

Where are you staying up there?

WP Fishing

I went out with TT on Thursday. Water was totally flat 50 miles out. We boated 3 and Quixotic and his crew boated 4. I will post some pictures in a different thread.
