MO, Just because you fish a lot doesn't mean fishing there is easy. You can have a fishing day that most people only dream about, or you can get skunked.

Some people dream about just being on this trip you just made, and catching a Halibut is a bonus.

Bummer about your crew, glad you had a good time with your old friends. You paid your dues for this year, good karma heading your way...

Thanks for the report.

great job guys, it looks like you all had a blast.

Mo how did you new rod and reel set up work for fishing the kelp beds. I bet that was a good feeling when you fished your own rod and reel out of the drink at 450 feet deep

Glen glad to see that your boat ran without a hitch and your whole family was able to make it on the trip and catch their first Halibut. How did those new rods work out for you all. Are you and the rest of the Walker clan coming out to Neah in July for salmon with us ?

Glad you see you had a fun, safe trip

Mark,

The kids are wanting to stay home and do some fireworks this year. We have gone out of town the last 3 years and they havent been able to shoot any fireworks off. Maybe we can get together for a trip some other time.

The poles worked great. We need to work out more for the next trip. Our arms got tired and we were only in 180-240 feet.

We are going out again this weekend. We will give you a report after that.

Glen

Sorry Glen, I had a whole stack for you and forgot to give them to you.

Dan, yes catching is good ,but just the fact that I was among friends and fishing was good for me.
Been hella stressed with tha new house, feeling a little better today.
Seeing the smiles on the Walker family after their first Halibut catch was way worth it

Hi Mo
Well after spending most of the day Sunday in a washing machine we were rewarded with a couple of nice butts thanks to my wife I had one on and lost it........... she hooked both.

Rick,

Nice fish!!

Glad to see you got in to them. I hear the bite picked up and the weather was real nice on Monday. Oh, well we were pretty tired anyhow.

See you around,
Glen
