Bass and catfish. Lynx lake was the best one I found when I was in college there. Not great fishing but it was a way to kill time. If you have a chance head over to sedona. There are some trout streams over there. The trout are small and skittish but it can be a fun day.
Hit up Whiskey Row and do some drinking. Go to Murphy's for dinner and drinks. Check out the plaques on the wall from the "Beer Club" You'll find me up there 6 times. There used to be a barstool with a small brass plaque on the back with my name on it. Yes, I spent a lot of time on a barstool there........

Up in Flagstaff there are some unbelievable creeks that hold wild trout, not the stocked fish in Sedona. Some of the most beautiful locations that you could imagine that are tricky to hike into, but spectacular.
Chaum, don't tell me you are a Yavapai Granola! . My sis and family have lived in Prescott for about 25 years. My daughter is there right now too.
Murphy's isn't as good anymore. Their territory is Thumb Butte, off of Copper Basin Rd.
check out Waynes Words Home Page it is set up for Lake powell but the bullitin board has alot of az info and you can ask some of the guys there "whut up"!!!!!!

The golf course has taken up most of the lakes.
No Yavapai granola, that would be the wife. ALl the true granolas in town when I was there went to Prescott College. I think they had classes in drum circles.
I was a flyboy at Embry-Riddle. The town didn't like us much...........
I actually miss Prescott. I spent many a night on Whiskey row.
