Lodging.. What do you want to spend?

Brewpubs.. Welcome to the most beer producing city in the country... Portland!
Rogue, Fullsail, Weinhards and lots of others are all brewed in Portland. I must suggest Rogue

Titty bars.. Club 205 off of highway 205 in gresham is a good spot, ex cellent food, cheap prices!

Let me know if i can help ya with anything else!

BTW the columbia is forcasted to have the 3rd largest salmon run of all time this spring.. Its gonna be goooood!

Dan & Louie's Oyster Bar, around SW 2nd Ave. & Ankeny Street. Ask any cabbie.

Since someone mentioned Troutdale, a great place for a beer is the the Edgefield, a McMenamin's place. They also have lodging there. Just don't drink their whiskey, it will take the enamel off your teeth.

Post this question on the Oregon forum(now that they have one).
What part of the Columbia do you plan on fishing?

Well, We're supposed to be fishing near Bonneville dam i believe. Using Dan Christopher as our guide, we hear he's good. Originally thought fishing one day for salmon and one day sturgeon but will listen to Dan and his suggestions. Just wanna hook up to something bigger than the trout in the local rivers here!!

I think DH Dan no longer can legally guide in Oregon, he was a very bad boy. No big surprise, his antisocial behavior caused the lost of his license for a few years. If he is still guiding I would think the OSP would be interested in talking to him.

No, Dan Christopher, the guide that assaulted a fisherman for having the nerve to be in his spot.

Hey Guys, Dont know what happened in the past with Dan, doesnt matter. We just got back from fishing with Dan and think he is a real solid guy. Unfortunatly the fishing wasnt great but that wasnt Dans fault. He worked hard to put us on fish but the bite shut down and the weather had something to with that. Thats why they call it fishing not catching. We plan on going back someday and will use Dan again. If anyone asks us we would recommend him.

Tight Lines,
Randy

If he doesn't have a guides license you both are breaking the law, if money changes hands. I'd not post about doing illegal things to keep Danny out of more legal trouble.
