I got a condo for rent or lease on St Simmons Island. It's beautiful there. If you are going to stay in that area for any length of time PM me back I'll get you details. Fishing is good.

I lived in Georgia, Savannah and in Columbus never fished out of there but the weather is hot and humid as fuck during the summer and cold and full of rain during the fall.

I was stationed at Ft Stewart a few years back. The fishing is pretty good for inshore like others said. Kings good. And if you know where to go, good Tarpon as well. A long ride to the stream can yield some decent blue water action. Just my 2 cents

Well it looks like the Army doesn't want me in Hawaii anymore. Probably heading to Ga this winter for 3 years. I will have to downsize some tackle for inshore. I will be getting a boat when I get there, thinking of a decent center console with some range. Need to relearn the east coast fishery. Any advice.

You betcha - from inshore to offshore - Savannah to St. Simons the fishing is great - much better than that sandy bowl they call the Gulf.
