Anybody fish South Dakota here on BD?
I will be headed out to FORT RANDALL DAM, SOUTH DAKOTA....about an hour west of yankton and 2 hours south/west of Sioux Falls.
I know most of the people have put their rods down and picked up a gun by now, but I will be fishing below the damn. My brother lives out there so I have fished below and above the dam for walleye, bass, cats.
Just curious if anybody out there has any reports, suggestions, etc.

Made it to SD. The word on the street is that fishing is slow, but there are some fish to be had up above the dam, deep trolling plugs in 25' to 50' of water with size 7 shad raps off of White Swan and Pease Creek.
WE are currently waiting for the boat to be taken out of storage so we can load up and hit the water. What a different game...I am used to running 30+ miles in a 25'+ boat.....now we will be running 2 miles in a 16' boat....should be a blast. The JD is ready to be loaded.
If we strike out up above, we will head down below the dam and look for catfish and bass.
If that don't work, ziggy on up 30 or so miles and drink beer with my buddy Mike Redd. He owns the rock pit out next to Delmont. Don't forget your PBR and tomato juice for breakfast...Fun place to hang for a few days.
