28th Annual Marlin Tournament

It is that time of year again when King Harbor Marlin Club ramps it up for their 28^th Annual Marlin Tournament held in Avalon at Catalina Island. Anglers throughout Southern California are beginning to prepare for the much anticipated event and we would like to invite you to join us. While many of the top pros with there sponsored teams converge on the Island for the big money tournaments several of the local fishing clubs host their annual events and they are a lot of fun. These smaller tournaments provide the opportunity for some great local competition, fun with family and friends, and some wonderful memories on the water at a fraction of the cost of the bigger events. King Harbor Marlin Club is one club hosting their 28^th Annual Marlin Tournament at Avalon September 11^th & 12^th. This annual tradition release tournament costs only $125 per angler and draws sportfishing fanatics from all over Southern California. It is an Invitational Tournament open to members of any Southern California fishing club and their guests. This year participants can be guaranteed a great competitive atmosphere, over $5,000 in raffles and door prizes, and a chance to get on the water and work out the bugs for those teams looking to compete in other events later in the month. Trophies, cash value prize packages, and the honor of saying I fished the King Harbor Marlin Tournament and won, will go to all winners in each category. King Harbor Marlin Club invites you to come out and join us, have some fun, meet some new faces, and catch a few Marlin.
