Carlos the one that I have a close of the reel got 657'. Dayln the guy helping everyone shoots the 700'. I'm still in the 500-550' with a Daiwa SHA20.

13'6" we use 4 1/4 oz and 5 1/4 oz..

What about line weight? I would guess that lighter than 30# would just snap mid cast.

On the tourney reels they use 8lb with a 50lb or 60lb shock leader. I have 15lb on mine...
