Big E Friday

Is anyone planning on going on the 52 hour Big E this Friday? I am thinking of taking my son for his 16 birthday. Just dont know if we have every thing we will need. My car was broken into coming back from a job in Mississippi and I lost two tackle bags and a jig bag. Replacing all that lost tackle has been a bear. Luckily they must not have had room for my rods because they left them. The parking garage at the Island of Capri in Lake Charles is not a safe place to park. I lost close to $7000.00 when they broke in to my car there. Every thing was in the trunk and they got it all lap top, cloths, fishing tackle, tools it was hear breaking. Oh well enough belly aching just have to build up the arsenal again.

Bummer. Sorry to hear about the theft.. I hate thieves.. I wish I was going on the Big E... Thats a great fishing platform.. The Best Tx has to offer. I would load up on 8-12oz diamond jigs for the blackfin.. Maybe a couple of poppers or rubber flying fish.. a box of 6/o circle hooks and your good to go. Use the boats Terminal tackle for bottom fishing..if yall head over the the Gardens.. ( They should have a bunch premade.) Good luck.. and let us know how you do..
