8/30 High Island

I took both kids and the yak to High Island. I had to leave one on shore each trip out. John (11) and I went out first and got a double pretty quick: 45" and 38" bull reds. He doesn't have the muscles to horse em in yet but he did get his arms stretched a bit and had a great time. Will and I got skunked, but then he stuck with it on shore and got a sandtrout and a gafftop, both on plastics. It was a much slower day for reds than it has been, but next weekend...
