Galveston Bay Fishing Report

Fishing all over Galveston has been excellent this past month. I have had multiple trips of limits or near limits of trout and flounder all month. I haven't taken as many trips this month as in the years past, people are not as interested in fishing in Galveston just yet since Ike. The trips we have taken have all been great. The trout are biting almost everywhere, West Bay, East Bay, and Trinity Bay have all produced. My customers have used live shrimp under a cork and gulps under a cork to catch speckled trout to 28 inches. The flounder fishing has been almost as good. The size and numbers have been impressive. Fishing hasn't been this good in years. Galveston is looking better day by day, but the fishing is at it's best right now! Our new site is www.galveston-fishing.com Merry Christmas to everyone!!!

Captain Alan I worked in the Galveston area a couple of days recently, still sad but looks like some progress is happening. I book marked you and may give you a call in a month or two. Also wanted to suggest you might make a similar post on the texasfishingforum site since there seems to be a fair amount of interest in bay/wade fishing there. Good luck to you!
