Sunset Beach Corbs 8/18

Hit the beach with the wifes family. They were swimming and tanning so I took a walk, a loooooong walk looking for sand crabs and a piece of beach big enough for a few casts, which was indeed the hardest thing, plenty candy though

Only found three crabs, one with roe that I got from a teen age girl that had found a whole bunch, but only gave me one

Anyways, caught three corbs, all good size 3+lbs or so, I must of saw 20, but they didn't want anything else I had.

Good fishing for a couple hours esp. for a bad tide.

I was there today and could see the beans swimming near my feet, I couldnt find any sc's though.

sc are so easy to find. do you guys not know the trick? and when your getting them it stirs the others up and more beans start coming in. an old China dude showed me how. get a bucket, get to where the water is barely coming in and look for small holes or V shaped ripples in the sand. Tap the part of sand with ur foot untill it feels like jello on the top(it makes the crabs come up) then use ur hands and dig every hand full throw it out on the beach so it scatters and bam you see all the crabs and u just run around pulling sc's off the beach
