6/28 Big Corbs on the chew

[ZZZZZ]

Got the evening bite with Sage, Reid, and Chaka. Large Crabs down deep. Flat calm, huge hole tight to the sand with ledge drop off with a V cut out of the ledge for Sliders but it was a really short ramp so more productive on the blind. Sunny and warm foot thermometer felt 68 bumped back up super inshore.

The Big Corbs were on the chew tight in to the beach. The little skinny water there was had sliders on a bed of Crab coming up the V ramp. Reid nailed a really nice slider on the outgoing flush. These last few days have been epic for me nailed 4 with 2 being the XLXL variety. We got some good licks in on these nice grade of fish. Don't forget when someone battles a Sand Shark for awhile once its ID'd just walk away and tell the angler he's not cool.

The large crabs are huge. Found 1 large soft shell insto YFC nice one.

Some really fat slabs nice big ones.

The Ocean is biting.

and the bikins are out.

Life is good.

Nice report. I want to head out with some of you guys who actually know what the fuck your doing one of these days. I have been working PB and Mission but I only get BSP. And that is getting really old. Do you actually see the corbs running up on the crabs? I sat on a huge crab bed for like 1/2 an hour. Didn't see anything and not even a bite. Please educate me.

surf school had little kids getting sucked out in the rip yesterday! haha!! perfect micro right handers were grinding off the north part of it yesterday....mini groms would have been stoked.. RC surfer would have killed it!!!

What # are you fishing IMO to be consistant on exotics its all about 4-6#

What size weight?

What size hook?

what type of bait?

my friend's got one.. fun but kinda bank.. gets old quickly too..fucking lot harder than a RC car to drive and tough to get mastered.. super fun though.. we did Del Mar beach 4th of July deal a few years ago and we were playing with it. bet the new ones are way better..

we need to get the surf and fish afternoons going.. all in trunks too! sweet

I'm such a kook. I didn't realize they were radio controled when I first checked out the IB video. I'm thinking, WTF that's insane.

Pretty cool actually. I want one. Put a troll line out behind it and catch a YFC.
