newbie

hey , i just picked up a nice lil surf rod and was planning on going out, here in the south bay area. any pointers anyone want to share for fall/winter surf
fishing and the best spots out here.

Curtis,

All the beaches from Hermosa to Redondo fish good. If you can fish the Santa Monica let me know. I fish the surf 3 - 4 days a week.

I live in torrance and we have been getting halibuts from the beach south of the peir and off the small jetty. you can drop shot plastics off the jetty or throw jerk baits, croc, and kastmaster along the beach.
