Morro Bay Surf Tips

I am trying out the surf fishing in Morro Bay this next week. Does anybody have any tips or tricks? I am planning on some gulp sand crabs on a Carolina rig, after I become tired of casting a shining minnow.

hey let me know how it goes. i've been looking on info on fishing up there as well, heard bloodworms are the bait to use.
