Mission bay jetty (nice bass)

Fished the end of the mission bay jetty today and got a shit load of these little rock fish type of things and one nice sand bass. Used squid for bait on a dropper loop with a 8 0z weight.
heres the picture of the fish its the only way i no how to get it on here its on a freind of mines myspace.

Usually chicks that hate fishing won't take it up the chute so that is a good way of weeding out the "non-fun-ones".

8 oz weight?? i fished Dana Point jetty all the time, never use more than 2 oz weight.......mostly 1 oz..and never use more than 6 oz on the boat..........how u use 8 oz on a jetty? how can yr rod cast a 8 oz weight? just don't get it..
