Fish 4 Sale !?!

What the f? Fished Newport pier yesterday with the gf. Mackeral Mafia in full swing 3 deep at the end of the pier. Witnessed sale of macks and even 2 corbina being sold for 6 bucks a piece. Took some pictures of the deals and called DFG seems they turn their heads to this illegal selling of sport caught fish. I have called them for the same thing 2 other times and never received a call back. I have confronted these poachers and their response is that they know it is illegal and shrug their shoulders. DFG doesnt care they are a goverment organization.

selling the Corbina bugs me but if they want to sell makeral they can do all they want, not sure who would buy a bunch of greenbacks!

The corbina were 6 a piece. Not sure what they were getting for the macks. They also were selling trout and carp.

when you call DFG tell them there are a few lobsters there too. When they get there they must have sold them. And while your at it tell them about the BSB and spotted owls and condors.

Surprised we even have a DFG anymore. Maybe we need another "special election" to get them to enforce the laws.
