WFO on the YFC & a few corbina too

Did the afternoon surfishing thing today, south Carlsbad. Had about 20 to 25 yellowfin croaker on the 2# test and trout lures. Also got my first corbina of the year day. Ended up with 4,kinda small, only 12 to 14 inches long. The croaker, were from a pound, to, 2 and a half pounds. All released, to fight another day! Totally Awesome day. Go get'em John!

Nice going on the YFC and corbina.

The YFC fishing has been good up here the last couple of days. Plenty of perch too.

I did get a 21" corbina in December on the KM. Nice winter bean. Been seeing a lot of them caught lately too.

Thanks for the report,

j

Small castmasters, but pretty much anything small and shinny. I think the 2# test is the key.JMO
