Drop shotted sand crabs pretty productive for you? I had never thought to give it a try, not the most natural appearance. Might have to give it a try one of these days.
I always dropshot the surf cause it is easier to cast on my ultralight. I figure the perch eat deadcrabs that are floating around. I usually try to only fish artificials if I can, but it does work.
