Planned on trailering my boat to Dana Pt today to fish tuna, dodo's, and marlin but after hooking up the boat I found that he outdrive wouldn't raise or lower so I had to call of the trip. Went to plan B. Grabbed my GS stash from the garage fridge and went to the spot. Got there at 5am , it was overcast with a stiff south breeze. Even had drizzle at times. Anyway, it was a pretty slow morning, buddy got a nice smooth hound shark and I believe thats it and I managed to scrape up this 19 to 20" corb
and one YFC.
We bailed just after 8am.
On the way home I had the urge to try an old spot. tide was wrong but what the heck. Fished it for an hr to 1 1/2 hrs for 4 smaller bSP and that was it. surf was up a bit.Strong westerly current with salad mixed in as well. Left their at 10:30am or so.
