Saw that I had a short window on the tide this am so I jammed to the the spot and got there around 5am. Tide was off but I was hopefull it would be close enough to still hold a few fish. One of my partners was all ready there. He had a couple YFC and Smoothounds. Pitched out my bait and started soaking it. Nailed a couple YFC and then got ripped. I mean this thing was smoking the drag. Thought I had Dicky Moe again. Faught it for a bit and finaly got it to color. Dang !!! big smoothhound. Short while later I got a good bite so I grabbed the rod and set the hook. Felt like the right kind but it had no wieght to it. Yep, turned out to be a 15" or so mini corb.
Partner bailed shortly after that. Was thinking it was go to be pretty dead on the big ones untill about 7:30 to 7:45. Pitvhed a big gS out and it got ripped. Reeled down on the fish and raised the rod tip and ZZZZZZZ it was off to the races. Faught the sucker for a while and when it was time to slider it up on the sand there was no sand left

. Tide had come in and I was now fishing under 3" of water. Did my best to get a couple quick shots of the 21 to 22" fish and then let it go.
Pretty unaventfull after that. Left at 8:25am to open the shop.
