Started at my spot at 7:00 A.M. Tuesday 8-19. No problem getting crabs. Started with the 1 oz. Kastmaster for nada. I did get bit off once and a few other biters but nothing on the beach. Started seeing quite a few corbina as the tide came up. Tried carolina rigged crabs with 4 lb. flouro and a succession of 1/8, 1/16 oz. slip sinkers and finally no sinker at all trying to get them to go. Only got one. Oh well, beautiful day. Should have gone to LJ for Yellowtail.

No such thing as a bad morning surf fishing! Looks like a bigger model Corbina ther too. The one that got your Kroc. potential world record Hali.... Next time! Good report thanks for including the crab info. I need to get down there one of these mornings.
