Hit the spot again this morning. Arrived at 5:35am and had two YFC before sunup. Mystery angler showed up just after me. We worked the tide and had plenty of bites. Mostly YFC but we did manage a couple corbs. I nailed a 18"
and a 20" model (while cleaning it off in the water for a pic it slipped out of my hands so no pic).
In between my catches the mystery angler hooked a screamer and was on a nice fish. He got it close enough to see a couple times and it looked like a 23"+ fish. After a nice battle the fish pulled the hook at the waters edge
. Was bummed for him as that was the one we where looking for. Just part of the fishing game though. We both stayed untill 8:30am and then split. also met another Sc angler there who was fishing for the flat kind. Unfortunately he never conected with his target species. tide is out of my fishing window so I'm done untill next week.
