Started at 6:00 with a perfect minus .2 rising to a high of 5.3. Lots of weeds in the water limited jig fishing for the flat kind. One yellowfin croaker and two perch on crabs. That was it for 4 hours of fishing. Saw a few corbina but they were not interested in the crabs. Early spring seems to be the best time for halibut as the water is cleaner. I don't quite know what to make of this season. It just is not very good this year.
