Didn’t have the ambition to commit to a hick down @ San O so I hit up NP looking for corbina. Started in BB and made bait before my coffee got cold. Didn’t see much in the area so I headed up the beach. Worked from NP pier north and saw VERY few fish that didn’t want to play. Since I had a nice bucket full of bait I set up one of my favorite perch spots. Early in the in coming tide was dink fest on the small crabs & gulp camo worms. Finally hook a few of the bigger models but lost them to the structure. Oh well. The bite was pretty slow but was nice to be out. All the surfers made it a little hard to fish the current. Need to spend some time and looking for some new spots.
Mike I must have missed you out there unless you where hikin off the beach at tower 36. Slow day of fishing for sure, only a handful of perch walking from the river jetties to the pier and back. The waves out there were kickin up HUGE! Some were overhead easy. I think that kind of killed the bean bite.
North HB was the same with a nasty fast up hill current.
