Hooked up with James "Corbinafly" at spot 'X" at daybreak. I had just cast out when he walked up. Told him that I'd all ready seen a couple toads and that I had some SC's for him to use if he wanted any. He grabbed his 2# outfit and pinned on a SC and pitched it out and a couple minutes later he was on, ZZZZZZZ!!!. I got a couple actions shots of him and then pitched my bait out to the 5 or 6 remaining corbs cruising the shoreline. Tap Tap and ZZZZZ!!! I'm on now . Oh my, we got a double going within 5 min. James actualy has a pic of me holding both rods while their bendo

!!! We went back to fighting our fish and Jame landed his first. A beautiful 24" model. A few minutes later I beached mine. Another 23 to 24" corb (didn't measure it, trying to get them back in the water asap) landed and released. We kept sight fishing the skinny but there was a blue sky out this am and lots of debris in the water and the corbs deffenetly had their game faces on. They where hard to get to bite. About 30min after my first fish I tell James I see 3 beans right in front of me, two seconds later tap tap and ZZZZZ it's off to the races again. Man do these fish pull hard and run fast!!!. Anyway, after some kelp issues a nice faaat 22" slides up the sand. Sweet !!! another big'n. Dang new rod hasn't caught a corb under 22". might have to retire it

!!!. Fishing got tougher as the sun rose. I didn't get any more shot's but I think James had 1 or 2 more chances on the fly before we both had to leave at 8:30am. Not a bad morning though, 3 beans over 22 with 2 being in that 231/2 to 24" class. Cant post my pics untill I get home but I think James said he was going to post a report with pics sometime today. Got to run and get to work.
Tight lines,
