I watched the fight..............and Oscar, shut up. You did not win that fight. He stopped punching from around the 8th to 9th round on. Left jab just disappeared. After the fight he was crying that he couldn't believe they said he lost. And could you believe that one judge gave it to Oscar?
I'm a hardcore fight fan from back in the 70's and 80's. Have really lost interest in the last 10 years. O' the memories...........damn I'm gettng old.
Have not watched much championship fights because of the Pay-for-View situation. Decided to watch this one last night. Yea it didn't quite live up to it's hype, but sometimes that happens when you have two skill fighters in the ring. Enjoyed it anyhow. Oscar did what he usually does in big fights. Stops using his jab in the later rounds, comes out and does a few flurries, that don't land shit, and thinks he wins. Don't get me wrong, he's a top fighter. But seems to have problems in the big ones. And I think Mayweather is a cocky SOB...........but he won last night and he's undefeated............so, that speaks for itself.
Curtis............
The boat Hanna.............

After the fight did you here Floyd's pops say he thought Oscar should of won if they were using the points system. Isn't that what they were using?

I thought that Floyd Jr ran away the whole fight , If oscar was'nt the Aggressor , There wouldnt be a fight. This fight was so hyped up and was to be considered the Fight to save Boxing, I doubt That it did..... Yes, I think there will be a Part 2 between these 2.
Im sure Glad That there is The Ufc and Pride , Where I can watch a real fight!

That punch stat counter was BS. Thought De La Hoya had a chance until he quit fighting in the eighth round. Lederman's an idiot.

Boring fight, They should both retire, but what do I care? Was a huge boxing fan for years, not for at least the last 10 years. Remember Hearns and Haggler, Sugar Ray and anybody? Boxing used to be good pre-Tyson. It was said by Butchaser, thanks for the UFC, I rarely watch boxing anymore

Thought the fight was pretty damn lame...Mayweather is far too cocky and De La Hoya couldn't land shit during his flurries.
The only thing entertaining about the fight was De La Hoya's flurries bc it sure seemed Mayweather was just relaxing taking the night off
