| A little something for Draft Day tomorrow
From ESPN's 100 worst draft picks ever. 2. Ryan Leaf, San Diego Chargers (No. 2, 1998) It's not just that Leaf was historically inept (14/36 TD/INT ratio), it's that his failure led the team to drafting Drew Brees, which led the team to drafting Philip Rivers, which led to them starting Brees anyway, which led to one playoff year, an injury and a trade, which leads to the team starting all over again with Rivers and hoping he pans out. Meanwhile, the Chargers have essentially wasted the first five years of the great LaDainian Tomlinson's career with just one playoffs year. By the time (if) Rivers matures, it's quite likely L.T. will start declining. Thank you, Ryan Leaf, thank you for destroying a franchise.
From a caption under his pic.
When you look up "bust" in the dictionary, Ryan Leaf's name should be there. |

Can't believe the Texans passed on Bush! Just tell me that the fucking "Aints" aren't going to take him or the Packers for that matter.

Touchdowns (aka points) wins titles.
See San Francisco...
Raiders still suck, but Huff's a stud.
Oh and I don't hate! Texans are going to regret passing on Bush!

I don't care how good a football player he is, he should have been banned from the draft with all the rumors about his family taking LOTS of money illegally while he was at USC.
Sends a great message doesn't it? The school gets tooled if it turns out he or his parents were accepting money but nothing happens to him?

The guys that are pressing the issue are shady and so is Reggie's stepdad. time will tell what actually happens. BTW, he didn't sign with the agent or the firm and apparently the family owes $54,000.00 in rent but will be sued for $3.2 million.

A 20 year old knows if his parents are in financial trouble or not.
Not only did they move into a brand new 3000+ sq foot house at a point that they were struggling to make rent but then the parents ALSO got another guy to give them about 100k so they could try and dig themselves out of their financial hole.
Based on his comments so far, I guarantee Reggie knew what was going on.

I agree that he did violate NCAA rules but banning him from the draft is very extreme. First of all nothing has yet been proved. Dont get me wrong it is very fishy but innocent until proven guilty. Providing money for your family is one thing Sexual harrasment is another. Thus the topic of backup douche Mark Sanchez. From friends that know the kid say that he is completly capable of what he is being acused of.
