| IS HE REALLY THE BADDEST MAN ON THE PLANET??
Some think he is, and regardless of what you think, tomorrow will finally be a great chance for many to see a fighter that most have only heard about or seen video clips of.
This Saturday 11/07/09 live on Prime time TV (CBS) will be one of the most talked about heavyweight MMA fighters of all time.
So who am I talking about?? The Russian Phenom know as Fedor Emelianenko.... who else??
Fedors opponent is Brett Rogers, who at 6'5" and 265 is much larger than Fedor..... but that has never stopped Fedor before. Brett Rogers is also undefeated, with ten fights and 10 knockouts, with only one opponent surviving the first round..... although that guy didn't make it past round 2.
It will be cool to finally see Fedor in action in a televised fight..... this should be good!!!

Mike do you relize you didn't say Fedor til your 3rd paragraph ?
Just a observation.... and I do believe he's VERY talented, but waiting to see him against some of the UFC dudes (Brock) before giving him the baddest award.

Thanks, I fixed it to where it makes more sense now as to why I left his name out for so long.

I have to say though, that originally I wasn't a big fan, but after doing alot of digging and research my opinion on him has changed quite a bit...... I do see this guy as a truly incredible fighter, and think he gets a little shortchanged due to the fact that many people think he hasnt fought anybody of any significance. Personally I dont think that's true though....... I think to many people in the states are looking for names they know, and when they don't recognize a big name, they discount the opponent as not worthy. I'm not so sure I am ready to call alot of his past opponents as not worthy, as many of his fights were in Japan. Quote:

But I love free fights! | That's a crazy statement there! Fedor is the most laid back, non self promoting, non smack talking fighter I can think of !! I think he even has said on numerous occasions that he doesn't think he is all that good.
Trust me.... Fedor is definitely better than he thinks he is !!!

russians are crazy, my mom is russian and she can kick some serious ass, I'm not kidding.
Also, the russians I've experienced (family) they never talk themselves up, it's in there culture or something, they can do the baddest thing you ever saw, and they won't even say a word about it, at least the ones I met.
