| Chase Headley is going to be a stud...
Headley makes adjustments in the middle of game....hits is 2nd home run in 14 at bats. If this guy is making adjustments already as a rookie 4-5 games into his start of the season, just think what type of hitter he will turn out to be....

After making an out in his first at-bat on Friday, Chase Headley looked at the video and determined that he needed to make a slight adjustment. Headley returned to the batter's box in the fourth inning and hit the first pitch he saw for a home run, tying the score 1-1. "I found out I was a little late," said Headley, a switch-hitter who was batting left-handed. He said he adjusted by making sure that he got his front foot down early in the sequence; that's the same expression that Tony Gwynn often used. His timing adjusted, Headley sent Eddie Bonine's fastball 406 feet for a home run to center field.
As a bonus, Headley got the baseball, a cherished item because it was hit for his first home run at Petco Park. Headley has yet to get the baseball he hit in Yankee Stadium for his first home run as a major leaguer. The ball is being authenticated, he said on Friday night, but he expects to get it soon. "Hopefully," he joked, "it's not on eBay." The homer that Headley hit on Friday was his second in 14 at-bats. Back at his natural position for the injured Kevin Kouzmanoff on Friday, Headley made a good play on a tricky groundball to retire Magglio Ordonez in the first inning.
