but my buddy sent me a cell phone pic of a dead baby GW last week at Torrey Pines State Beach. It appeared to be about 4-5 feet long and if I had to guess by photo around 100lbs. Can't imagine how big momma was, and more importantly if she was around the TP area...
Anybody know how long the momma stays with there young?
since we r all telling Mr whitey stories this is mine.. has nothing to do with SoCal sharks... i was fishing Guadalupe and my dene is flylined on the surface and a seagul takes it and flies away until the line slakins making him smack in the water. right as he hits the water Mr Whitey pops out of the water and has a quit snack. that bird was gone in one bite the only thing left were the feathers in the air. It was awsome!
