Certified in 1973, on Guam, over a thousand dives. Lot of dives to 120' , I mainly stay around 60 to 80' Rescue Certified, Padi Cert. Own my own boat many night dives, Lot's of Wreck diving and some Cave Diving, Surf diving sucks. Still diving. Getting into the gear at 51 is more like excersies. Muff diving Certified on request only!

Free diving for approx. 15 years...sold all big open water guns..now I just freedive for hali's in the shallows...I still own 7 spear guns for shallow water. I have 3 complete sets of scuba and dive Geni 120's (hi psi steels). Approx 600 dives (day, night(approx 150), wreck, bug hunting etc..100- 150 solo and yea against even more rules some solo night dives. Most of the dives in C'bad/North County. The need of a new wetsuit has been holding me back. Wife bought me a new one..used it once and the damn thing almost choked me out. Its a 6 mil one piece and the neck rode too high in the collar/throat area. Will sell it and buy another but has to be kinda low key...don't want to hurt wifey's feelings. Give me a PM for more details on suit. Have a boat but its too much work to clean boat and dive gear..therefore I dive from shore.

Cert since 1992, at one point I was diving 3 times a week, and on weekends, so I got close to 1000 dives. We used to do night dives to 175' for lobster, and spear fish for Yellowtail & Dorado. I also have 100's of beach dives in Laguna Beach with southcoastdivers.com.
Dive with Drysuit, Nitrox, and deco gas (50%o2). I own too much gear and am looking to sell some soon. I just had 12 cylinders hydrod, and a few sets of regs rebuilt.
My boat is really set up well for diving if I can just get myself to work on it. Best times were leaving to Cat friday night, doing a night dive for some buggs & fish, Cooking up a nice meal & crashing out. Next day some more diving and good food. Hmm memories....

Ok, I'll chime in. I'm always looking for more (competent) dive partners as I dive alot and get alot of weekdays off. Only been recertified for 4 yrs as I had to stop diving for 10yrs due to surfers ear. In the 4yrs, probably chalked up 500 dives on scuba and as many freediving. Got a small crew of guys that will hit it however and whenever. When we dive, although at the same spots, we're always solo. If you are looking for a somebody to fill a spot on your boat, or just want to get wet, pm me.
willing to split expenses, and share my experience, but don't want to hold your hand.
I am NOT a sightseer. I like to HUNT.
Got the rest of the week off.........let's roll.

theres tons of places...i know ocean enterprises is pretty affordable i made 2 of my friends get certified and they said that was the cheapest place. Some places like OEX are a tad bit more expensive because some have private or smaller classes and you can choose to do the classes whenever you want. Theres also aquatech, ricks diving locker etc just call around but probally o.e.

I think we have strayed from the original concept of this thread so I thought I would try to get it back.
I am always looking for a oppertunity to get out on the water
PADI certified since 2000, Intermediate-Advanced diver
primarily SCUBA but I try freediving every once in while
Love night dives and usually go by myself off the dive boats during lobster season.
Rookie spearo, (JBL Explorer to test it out)
I'm in SD everyweekend and working in Riverside during the week so I can dive up north or down in SD on the weekend.
If you want to get ahold of me send me a PM, I am usually here every other day looking at the reports.
Also available for boat ho'ing
