New Dive boat for me!!! Help!

Just put a deposit down on a new Achilles SG 156- ned some rigging advice. Lokking at doing an arch across the back for lights, radio attn. and pole/gun holders- Any thoughts or comments?

Also posted this in boats forum- but thought y'all in here would be more inflatable savy.

ask the guys over at spearboard.com if they have advice. There is also a California section there that is helpful.

I do lots of SS work. Whatever you want, can be made. My advice??? Just run the boat for a few weeks, get used to it. Think hard about storage, ice chests for fish, anchor, etc. Get things where you like them, and make a plan for where you want them. THEN, have the racks made, etc. Otherwise, you'll pay me or someone like me 3 or 4 times to get it right. And that part sucks.
Figure to use a milkcrate for anchor and rope, use a drybag for clothes/ wallet. Figure anything and EVERYTHING will be wet on a balloon boat of any kind. Just expect it to be so. They are great, I love to use mine. Just get a good idea what you want before you spend extra money. Paul.

Re: New Dive boat for me!!! Help!

FJHIII- will do on spearboard- did a search for stuf on similar boats and didn't find much but maybe a posting will bring the experts out of the woods.

rojodiablo- Good advice. The only pre-made arch I could find that mounts to transom was a single tube design by Altantic towers and they're $600 I can get a double tube off ebay for 500, but it mounts to the floor and I'm leary of holes in the floor- more for RIBS- Might bend my own out of AL tube if the price is right- Taht will mount the attenas and lights for now and I can think about racks, etc. for later
