study your dive tables and if you go cheap never go below 60 ft. 60 approx 60 min bottom time al-80 and basically same steal-72. remember, multipule dives in a day compound and will even make shallow dives after the firts one, will require decompression. There are many things to learn. There are things you must not do, dont skimp or take short cuts. Had a friend die cause he thought he could just do it. Got nitrogen narcosis and would not come up. Good luck it a great world down there shootin instead of hookin.

How much is it now? When I got certified in '72 it was $50 at SDDS.
