Unhappy Late Bug Report

Pulled hoops and free dove north of Dana Point on Tuesday. Sorry it's so late, but the holidays were a grind.

Anyways, not a single bug in like 6 sets of the hoops. Only thing that came up was a nice puss and a 6" Calico. Calico sent home and puss made it to my buddies Thanksgiving table, he's been on me to bring one home for him.

While my boat partner was working an additional hoop set solo I jumped in off Salt Creek. Saw very few bugs out and about. One legal was the tally for my dive effort, and the tally for our entire effort during the night.

This was the day after the high pressure collapsed and the low set in, the moon was new and the tide not really ripping, started and sunset to 8PM.

Paul,

Hoping so. I'm going to try and get out on Wednesday night. Weather will probably keep me/us off the Island, so local will be in the cards.

Better you wait until Thurs. or Fri. Weather looks to calm down later in the week. And, if you want a few ideas, let me know. I'll help if I can.
