Without trying to be a dick, buy the REQUIRED measuring device and file off about 1/4 inch and there will be no worries, better safe than sorry, and check the DFG site on a regular basis as the regs change faster than you can change your shorts and bug season is over so you have plenty of time to file the measure down

Early early morning..they're still out of their holes..unless your diving in the Kelp..then they're always chillin'..Jetties..late at night..never have luck on a Full moon, just dive and grab a bug...that's whats important..

I've had people say don't get em on a full moon. My best bug trip all last season was in shallow water and en intense full moon. Just make sure your shodow doesn't cast on the nets. other than that I find it to be best when the tide is moving. One way or the other.

we used to dive LB wall always later was better. same with Dana and using rings, laster better.
