went out spearfishing at Pacific Beach with a Hawaiian sling. Visibility was bad, but still managed to get a few corbina. Great for fish tacos!

The mouth is on the bottom on the corbina. And they tend to hug the bottom very close.

The yellow fins are super high vis on wsb underwater while the corbina just look greyish.
