That is a nice goat. I love some of those coves off solag. I used to spear all the time down in that area about 20 years ago. Kudos in letting the other goats to live another day.

I shot that bad boy while freediving, I always freedive when spearfishing.

The Gun is a 55" Titanium Daryl Wong Hybrid.
All daryls guns are completely customized to the customer and all hand made by Daryl himself. He will even paint your name into the gun for free! It is by far the best gun I have ever had, it is deadly accurate, easy to maneuver through the water, and has enough power to take down a huge WSB yet the accuracy to stone a 2lb calico.

He is also one if the nicest people I have ever dealt with, the service is great!

I like the 55" because it is small enough to use locally yet has the power for mexico and catalina.
But If I had a boat and could do more kelp/offshore diving I would also get a 60" gun.

TurdROller that thought never really leaves my mind but you just push it out and think about hunting and it will go away. Kinda like when you go fishing and you have a lot if shit happening on land but once you step on the boat you kinda forget everything. I am not thinking about sharks until the vis is bad and green. Most of the stories you hear about GW's happens in the 3-8 foot wsb green milky water shit and when I am swimming in that I normally skip across the water I swim so fast.

Discovered its 2# shy of the fishing all taclke world record

but I am going to submit it for a spearfishing world record. Mine has a good 8.2# on the current record of 18.3#

I hope everything goes smoothly in the aplication process, hopefully can get some bragging wrights
