Went to casa cove this afternoon to look for some bugs in the daylight the place was loaded with shorts. water vis was 20+ in that area but worse around the point. found a few legals but could not get to them even after taking off all of my shit and going deep into some tight holes. i think i will stick to night dives.
It's really tough retting them in the day. I've read about guys up in the Channel Islands getting limits of big bugs during the day. Good job getting out there, it's still better than a day at work.
I've been finding that they can be just as easy during the day. The key is is to find the holes. You aren't going to find as many crawling but when you find the holes you will find a lot of them as they are less scattered during the day.
