Catalina Divinng

Any help would be appreciated.
I going over to Catalina to do some Diving for the first time. I have no idea where to go. Any suggestions on Good dive spot's in the 30'-60' range ?

check out the kelp beds along the front side of the west end area (i'll PM you some cool spots). ship rock is fun but watch the current and if you get dragged out into open water by a fatty fish keep an eye out for the tax man. been some sightings lately and i'd hate for you to have to give up your fish to him.

the backside of the west end if you want some adventure and big fish. but check conditions before heading over there. can be a bit rough.

i recommend checking out fishermans cove by two harbors also. lots of cool fish, leo sharks, a nice reef, lagoon, and cave to look at. since its a marine reserve you cant kill anything. check out info here: Fishermans Cove,Fishermans Cove dive,Fishermans Cove diving,USA, California, LA County, Catalina Island, Wannadive.net, The dive site atlas, maps, GPS location, photos of scubadiving sites.
