The search feature here on BD is pretty efficient?

Have you tried "googling" these topics yet?

It is really gonna eat up a lot of peoples valuable time teaching you how best to fish and spear at the island here in this reports section, which is actually for reports primarily by the way.

How much spearfishing and hook and line fishing have you done in So Cal?

This thread explains it all pretty well.

To start; at Cat, look to protected areas with kelp beds, scout around for calicos. The big rocks and points may have different fish, beware of currents at places like Ship rock, Eagle reef. Safe bets from current are usually a bit closer to the island. Dive the quarries, look for baitfish.

Typically, this is the forum for Fish Reports.

There are other forums here that are better suited to your topic.

Post back after you spear those fish.
