leopard sharks are verry damn good to eat,look them up and rescrech them you will learn more befour you make damn dumb coments, leopard,soup fin and angel sharks top of the food chain,eat same things as halibit

There's nothing wrong with shooting a Leopard Shark, but if you're going to shoot a shark (or any fish) that big; make sure you have the proper equipment.
It sounds like you don't have a large enough gun or the right terminal gear for a 6' shark if it broke a plastic piece on your gun.

The guns plenty big enough. Dont know why it broke the way they had it set up looked good to me. Would not have shot it if I thought it was going to break. Live and learn going with a float line now.

Get it straight, in Hawaii, or anywhere else, when a shark is threatening, or it is believed to be a real man-eater, it is killed out of GP. And, everywhere on earth, wherever sharks are highly edible, they are eaten. Eaten by seals, by people, and by other sharks. When they pose no threat, and are not desirable for a food source, they are left alone.
