Fin & Hunting Advice

What's up guys! I'm a little late to the party, but I finally got here. I'm looking to pick up a new set of fins this weekend, stopped by the Spear Shack and Mitch's. Both sell Gara 2000HFs but I'm afraid that they are too much fin for a new guy like me. I'm thinking I might get the Cressi Reaction Pro's from Mitchs but then again I don't want to have to upgrade in 6 months or a year. Thoughts? Advice?

Also, seeing as I'm rather new and still have yet to spear anything with my pole spear I was wondering if anyone would care if I was to tag along with them one weekend. I'm pretty athletic and feel pretty comfortable in the water. I've been diving at the MB Jetties and up in Torry Pines. My weekends are pretty open so let me know.

Cheers,

Mike
