Used speargun?

Anyone have any suggestions where to find a good speargun used or new for Palos Verdes and Santa Monica bay use? Would like to mainly hunt bigger fish, but have some versatility to bang some small table food as well.

What size gun, what price range? You can get a Hammerhead speargun or a Rob Allen for very good prices, there are maybe 10 different tube guns on the market nowadays for you to choose from that will cost you less than $300 new. The wood guns will be more. I guess it really depends on what you want to shoot, and what you want to spend. If I were suggesting a gun to you for a first or second gun, I would say get a 100cm(54") shaft gun. It's a compromise. Short enough to still hunt calicos with, long enough to have the range to shoot wsb with.
If you want bigger, and want a good gun, I have 2 larger ones I am willing to part with. Both are NEW, and wood. So, not as affordable.

Thanks, I went with the hammerhead my friend who I go with is still in the market, how much are you asking for the Wood guns? We both agreed to get a bigger gun considering we will be out off the boat mainly.
