FYI, Sports Chalet is selling the Oneill type J wetsuit for $199. The suit normaly retails for $435

If anyone is looking for a 7mm suit this is a great option. I just got one this weekend. Sale lasts untill 7/7/08

I have one and regret it, you can usually find them on Sierra Trading post cheaper also, they are simply way to tough to get in and out of. For the same price you can get a diveskin open cell. Once you try an open cell suit you'll never go back. I waited till Hammerhead had a sale and got one for $299. There are plenty of opinions and options out there and while I have a 7 mm a 5 mm will do you fine. There is a HUGE difference in these suits, 1 keeps you warm the other so so, in the J Type I could last an hour in the water in 54 degrees, in the Open cell 3 hours, movement, feel...everything, you do have to take care of an open cell BUT its well worth it.

Like my big gun, (which I love) you get what you pay for.

i have a j type and its easy to get in and out of and is super warm in water as low as 52. it is too much in water warmer than 64 unless you take off the hood and let water in.

Sorry for the spam, but I hate to see fellow divers buy bunk wetsuits. Let me know if you're in the market for a freediving suit. I have all sizes in 5mm and 7mm available in the KELP KAMO APNEA legend series. (except XXXL)
Free shipping too.
See the sizing chart here:
