Redondo fishing,diving,halibut and lobsters 1/31

I had planned on just doing a night dive for lobsters but with the halibut starting to show up a little bit and after seeing a 25+lber last week while diving I decided to go out early and get in a few hours of halibut drifts to see if they would bite.

Me and 2 of my daughters fished for 2hrs till sundown but no halibut were caught but we were very lucky to be out there when we had one of the best sunsets I have seen.

After the sun went down it was time to do my dive in which I managed a limit of bugs and a nice 10lb halibut to finish off the dive.

Way to go on the limit of bugs and the nice butt. Those are some awesome pictures, especially the ones with the sunset included.
What kind of gun is that in the picture? Is it a riffe?

Yes the speargun is a Riffe.

Its one of the smallest they make and I only use it on night dives

It looks like the Competitor #00. Am I right? It's a great gun for halibut and cave hunting for lings.

I am pretty sure its the "00" but I want to sale it and get a similar size AB Biller since the Ab's are easier to reload and i could use one of those coiled shock cords.
